Iconic Bluff City Brands Peabody Hotel, Memphis Men’s Basketball Partner for Name, Image and Likeness Deal

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Two iconic brands in the City of Memphis, The Peabody Hotel and Memphis Tiger Men's Basketball, have joined forces for a Name, Image and Likeness deal made possible through the 901 Fund to help promote charities in the City they call home.
Visitors can book a night's stay at the world-renowned Peabody Hotel and have $75 of the cost donated to the 901 Fund, which will then connect men's basketball student-athletes with local charities to promote and raise awareness for their causes. The 901 Fund NIL Package can be booked at THIS LINK.
To celebrate the partnership, men's basketball senior Malcolm Dandridge served as Honorary Duckmaster last Thursday and led the Peabody Ducks into the lobby of the hotel for their day's stay. Ducks have been permanent residents at The Peabody since 1933, and the Peabody Duckmaster has led the five mallard ducks on their daily march from their rooftop Duck Palace to the hotel lobby fountain, and then back to the rooftop in the evening, each day since 1940.
Dandridge joins a long list of famous Honorary Duckmasters, including Oprah Winfrey, Martin Short, Patrick Swayze, Larry King, Kevin Bacon and many more.
"The Peabody is a proud supporter of Memphis Tiger Men's Basketball, and we're thrilled to be able to support Memphis' student-athletes and local charities through the 901 Fund," said Douglas V. Browne, President, Peabody Hotels & Resorts.
"As a Memphian, being the Honorary Peabody Duckmaster was a truly amazing experience," Dandridge said. "I'm thankful to The Peabody and the 901 Fund for their support, and my teammates and I are excited to help promote local charities and the work they do in our City."
"We are incredibly excited about the opportunity to work with Malcolm and The Peabody," said Clay Presley, 901 Fund board member. "The Duck March at The Peabody is an iconic event in Memphis, and having an amazing student-athlete like Malcolm Dandridge use this event to promote 901 Fund is thrilling."
Additionally, The Peabody is selling two items in its deli and lobby bar that benefit the 901 Fund: the "Memphis Blue" lemon and blueberry Bavarian tart and the "Arctic Tiger" beverage.
