MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's golf team will head to Mobile, Ala. to compete in the Hal Williams Collegiate. The two-day tournament gets started on Monday, Feb. 13 and runs through Tuesday, Feb. 14. Live scoring can be found at GoTigersGo.com.
"Quick turnaround to Mobile but coming off a solid event, we are excited to get back on the road," head coach Blake Smart said. "The field is solid this week and it will be another opportunity to build our resume."
The 54-hole tournament will be hosted by South Alabama and will be played on the par 72, 7,212-yard Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday beginning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. and the final round on Tuesday with 8 a.m. starts on holes 1 and 10.
Last time out, the Tigers earned runner-up honors at the Battle at Briar's Creek last week, finishing with a team score of 860 (-4). The finish was the best for the team this season and marked the best result for the team since also placing second at the David Toms Intercollegiate on Oct. 5-6, 2019.
