Rodrigues dos Santos, Kim Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's soccer team has landed two student-athletes on the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Teams in Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos and Jackson Kim.
Rodrigues dos Santos, a junior out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, had a stellar season after leading the team with 14 goals and adding in seven assists. The American Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Year recorded eight game-winning goals in route to the program's best postseason run ever.
A Hermann Trophy Watchlist honoree, Rodrigues dos Santos had a career outing against Temple where he played a role in all goals scored. Rodrigues dos Santos notched his eighth goal of the year while assisting on the three other strikes that game.
This is the second-career United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team nod for Rodrigues dos Santos.
Kim, a senior from Norman, Okla., played in 19 matches while making 18 starts this season to help the Tiger defense to 10 one-goal matches along with two shutouts. An AAC First Team All-Conference honoree, Kim was a staple in the Memphis backline that included a 1-0 shutout over then ninth-ranked Missouri State and a 2-1 victory over 24th-ranked SIUE in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
This is the first United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Second Team nod for Kim.
