Memphis Heads to Georgia for Brickyard Collegiate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's golf team will head to Macon, Ga. to compete in the Brickyard Collegiate at Brickyard Golf Club this week. The two-day tournament gets started on Monday, April 4 and runs through Tuesday, April 5. Live scoring for the event can be found at GoTigersGo.com.
The 54-hole tournament will be played on the par 72, 6,256-yard course with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. on both Monday and Tuesday. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
The 14-team field includes Memphis, Mercer, No. 30 UCF, Sacramento State, UNC-Asheville, Kennesaw State, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida Atlantic, Central Arkansas, Delaware, Daytona State, Chattanooga, Gonzaga and Troy.
Last time out, Brooke Veres led the Tigers at the Pinetree Women's Collegiate on March 22, finishing 24th overall with a score of 230 (+14). Katie Stinchcomb tied for 25th place with a total of 231 (+15).
