MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 54th-ranked Memphis Tiger women's tennis team finished a home weekend of American Athletic Conference play with a 4-2 win over Tulane Sunday morning on Senior Day.

The Tigers (17-5) won their fourth-straight outing and 10th in the last 11. Memphis finished the season 9-0 at home.

"It was pretty cool to capture the win at home on Senior Day and cap off an undefeated season at home," Memphis head coach Hayden Perez said. "The girls had to dig deep against a tough Tulane team at a few positions, and they showed the same fight they have all year. I am very proud of this group, especially the seniors, and we can't wait to hit the road against SMU and then to the AAC Championship."

The Tigers opened the match with a point in doubles, and Aran Teixido Garcia/Camila Romero were leading Tulane's 72nd-ranked squad at the time doubles concluded. Teixido Garcia, Romero and Monique Woog won their singles competition to clinch the contest for the Tigers.

Memphis returns to action next Monday, April 18, at SMU, and the AAC Championship will be played April 20-23 in Tulsa, Okla.
