Memphis Bests North Alabama, 7-0

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger men's tennis team improved to 5-2 on the season with a 7-0 win over North Alabama Saturday in Memphis, Tenn.
The Tigers picked up the doubles point behind a 6-1 win by David Stevenson/Jeremy Taylor and a 6-3 victory by Oscar Cutting/Patrick Sydow.
The six singles victories were highlighted by freshman Pablo Alemany Malea moving to 5-0 on the season with a 6-2, 6-2 win, and fellow rookie Harry Rock picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win. Taylor came from behind to win in the second position, and Cutting, Stevenson and Pau Fanlo all won in straight sets.
The Tigers next compete in the Arizona State Invite next weekend in Tempe, Ariz.
