MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Looking to close out their regular season on a high note, the Memphis Tiger women's soccer team made the trip to Texas to take on SMU. Despite gaining an early lead, the Tigers would fall 2-1.

After today's game, Memphis moves to 7-5-4 for the season and finish 3-2-3 in American Athletic Conference play.

KEY MOMENTS

Memphis gained an early lead when Eef Kerkhof found an open Jocelyn Alonzo in the box in the 12'.
The Tigers' lead would hold until the 80' when SMU netted the equalizer off Jewel Boland. The Mustangs recorded the game-winning goal with 18 seconds left in the match to secure the 2-1 win.

NOTABLES

Memphis won the battle on shots (15-5) and corner kicks (8-1).
