Boychuk, Spray Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Senior midfielder Tanya Boychuk and sophomore defender Haylee Spray have been named to the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Boychuk, a native of Edmonton, Alberta, had a big weekend for the Tigers; after giving Memphis the 1-0 lead in their match against Alabama, she would net the go-ahead goal in the 66' of play after Alabama scored just before the half ended. Sunday's double-goal match is the second time this season that Boychuk has netted multiple goals.
This is the second time Boychuk has been named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
Spray, a native of Allen, Tex., helped lead a Memphis backline that shutout a tough Kansas team and held Alabama to just three shots on-goal for the match on Sunday night. Memphis' 1-0 win over Kansas was the fourth shutout for the Tigers this season while holding the Jayhawks to just seven shots in the 90 minutes of play.
This is the third time in Spray's career, second time this season, that she has been named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
