COLUMBUS, Ohio – Memphis wrapped up play in the Wolstein Classic Sunday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio, battling Dayton to a 1-1 tie after two overtime periods.
The Tigers (0-1-1) fell to Ohio State Friday night, 3-2, in their other match in the season-opening classic. Dayton is 1-0-1 on the year.

- Toby McCallum put Memphis on the board in the 36th minute off a dish from Zion Wagoner.
- The Tigers held the 1-0 lead at the half, but Dayton tied the game at 1 in the 50th minute.
- Emanuel Santos had a good look in the 106th minute, but it was saved by the Flyer keeper.
- The goal was McCallum's first as a Tiger after spending the 2021 season at Coastal Carolina, where he helped the Chanticleers to an NCAA Tournament appearance.
- Memphis had an 18-17 shot advantage over the Flyers in the game, including a 10-7 advantage in the second 45 minutes.
