No. 26 Oklahoma State bests No. 22 Memphis

STILLWATER, Okla. – In a battle of ranked teams, 26th-ranked Oklahoma State picked up a 4-1 win over the No. 22 Memphis Tigers men's tennis squad Tuesday afternoon in Stillwater, Okla.

The Tigers (5-4) won the doubles point to get the match off on the right foot. Memphis' No. 1 team of Oscar Cutting/David Stevenson took down Oklahoma State's top pair, 6-3, and James Story/Jeremy Taylor followed with a 6-4 victory from the third position.

But the Cowboys won the first four singles points to clinch the match.

The Tigers play in Memphis this weekend, hosting Tulane on Saturday and Washington University-St. Louis on Sunday.
