Mar 08, 2021 | Men's Soccer
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis sophomore defender Maliek Howell has been named to the AAC Men's Soccer honor roll, the conference announced Monday. It is the first league honor he has received.
Howell, from Kingston, Jamaica, scored unassisted in the 86th minute but the comeback for Memphis men's soccer fell short in a 2-1 loss at UCF on Saturday at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex.
Howell's first career goal gave him three points on the season to go along with an assist.
Memphis (1-3) plays three of its next four matches at home as it returns to action this Saturday vs. USF at 5:30 p.m. at the Park Avenue Complex.
Attendance at home games this season is limited to player and staff guests.
