Tigers add late-season matchup with Temple

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – With the approval of the American Athletic Conference, the Memphis Tigers and Temple Owls women's basketball teams have agreed to add one regular season game to their respective schedules. Memphis and Temple will meet on Thursday, Mar. 4 at 12 p.m. E.T./11 a.m. C.T. in Philadelphia, making it the second matchup between the two sides in a three-day period to close the regular season.
Memphis (4-11, 2-8 AAC) was originally scheduled to square off with Temple (9-9, 9-6 AAC) on Saturday, Feb. 20 before heavy snowfall in the Memphis area caused the game to be postponed. With the addition, the Tigers will extend their regular season by two days after being originally scheduled to finish the year against the Owls on Mar. 2. That game is still scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. E.T./2:30 p.m. C.T. tip-off. Both Tuesday's game and Thursday's game are scheduled to be televised on ESPN+.
