Boychuk Named Second Team Scholar All-American

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Senior Tanya Boychuk has picked up another postseason award this week as she was named to the United Soccer Coaches Second Team Scholar All-America Team.
Boychuk, a native of Edmonton, Alberta, had quite the season while helping to lead the Tigers to a 14-5-2 overall finish and a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year. She was tied for first on the team with six goals and four assists while collecting three game-winning goals during the season.
She ranked third in the conference in game-winning goals and second in shots per game and shots on-goal per game.
Boychuk picked up an American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week nod back on October 11th and was named First Team All-AAC for the second time in her career. She was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region for the second consecutive season.
