Softball Senior Salute: Ashten Graves
7/1/2020
Ashten Graves joined the Tigers at the semester break in 2017 after transferring from Southeastern Louisiana University. Although she only saw action in 16 games throughout her career, Graves played an integral role in the growth and development of Memphis softball.
Graves concluded her career on March 10, 2020 with an opportunity to see the field for the first time since 2018 after battling injury. She earned the start in game two of the Youngstown State doubleheader and caught a base runner stealing in that start.
She graduated in May of 2020 with a degree in Exercise Science and plans on pursuing her Master's Degree.

Ashten put in a ton of hard work to grow in the game, showed amazing support for her teammates, and loved being a Tiger! I enjoyed seeing her smile and laugh with her team. I am so proud of how she finished her career, even though it was cut short in her senior season. She has much to be proud of and I am thankful that she chose the University of Memphis to get her education and to play softball. She will be moving on to further her education in the medical field and we wish her all the best.Head coach Natalie Poole
