Fankam Mendjiadeu earns spot on AAC Weekly Honor Roll

Junior forward posted ninth double-double of the season in win against Tulane
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the third time this season, junior forward Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Fankam Mendjiadeu posted her ninth double-double of the 2019-20 campaign in Memphis' 64-62 victory against Tulane on Feb. 4. She led the Tigers with a team-high 15 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

On the road at No. 4/6 UConn, Fankam Mendjiadeu was one point and two rebounds shy of another double-double. She also recorded a career-high three blocks against the Huskies.

Fankam Mendjiadeu is averaging 11.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for the Tigers. She has also recorded a team-high 23 blocks this season and a field goal percentage of .512. In conference play, those numbers are even higher with 12.6 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
