Ierides Tabbed to Weekly Honor Roll

Scored twice in win over Belmont on Tuesday
MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Another 1-0 week goes by for Memphis men's soccer, which results in another weekly award for the Tigers. This week, junior midfielder Alexandros Ierides finds himself on the Weekly Honor Roll after scoring a brace against Belmont last Tuesday.
Ierides netted both goals in the 2-0 shutout win over Belmont, scoring first in the 44th minute before capping the scoring in the 57th. The goals were the first of the season for Ierides.
The Weekly Honor Roll nod is the first weekly award for the Nicosia, Cyprus native. He is also the seventh Tiger to claim a spot on the award list on the season.
Memphis returns home for a faceoff with A-10 opponent Saint Louis on Tuesday. Match time against the Billikens is slated for 7 p.m. at the Billy J. Murphy Track & Soccer Complex. Follow the Tigers on social media at /MemphisSoccer and @MemphisMSoccer for more information.
