Hunter named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

Recorded her first career double-double against Arkansas State
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Junior forward Keke Hunter has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her efforts in Memphis' commanding 78-50 victory over Arkansas State Saturday afternoon.
Hunter recorded her first career double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds to help lead Memphis to victory. The 17 rebounds she recorded were a career-high and the highest total by a member of the AAC this season.
In addition to leading the team in rebounding, Hunter dished out a team-high five assists. She also hit three free throws in 28 minutes of action for the Tigers.
For the year, Hunter is averaging 7.0 rebounds per game. She is second on the team in that category behind Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu's 7.2 boards per game. Hunter is also averaging 6.3 points per contest.
The Tigers hit the road Tuesday for the final road non-conference game of the season at Little Rock. Tipoff against the Trojans is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center. For more information on the Memphis women's basketball team, follow the Tigers on social media at @MemphisWBB.
