Tigers close fall season at FineMark Collegiate Open

BONITA BAY, Fla. – Memphis men's tennis added 12 wins across the final two days of the FineMark Collegiate Open, hosted by Florida Gulf Coast University.

In singles, James Story and Jan Pallares capped an undefeated weekend. Story claimed all three of his wins in three-set fashion, while Pallares closed the weekend with a straight-set decision against host FGCU.

Jeremy Taylor added two wins in singles on Saturday and Sunday, while Matt Story closed his fall singles action with a three-set bout on Sunday.

In doubles, duo Marshall Sullivan and Patrick Sydow claimed a 6-3 win in the Tigers' lone doubles win on Saturday.

Duo David Stevenson and Pallares teamed up for a 6-3 victory, while James and Matt Story collected a 6-4 doubles win on Sunday for a strong finish to their fall campaigns.
