MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three women's soccer student athletes were recognized by the American Athletic Conference in this week's AAC Awards list, as Clarissa Larisey, Stasia Mallin and Elizabeth Moberg were named to the Honor Roll.
The Tigers improved to 12-1 overall and 4-0 in league play behind a 5-0 win against UConn and 2-0 victory against Temple.
Larisey tallied three goals in two matches, providing the game-winning goal in both contests. The Ottawa, Ontario native began the weekend with a score against the Huskies.
Against Temple, the junior registered her sixth career multi-goal match, which is tied for third all-time in program history. Larisey's two scores against the Owls drove her goal total to 12, tying her season output from 2018.
Mallin picked up two assists against the Huskies in Memphis' 5-0 win. Her two assists increased her season total to nine, which is a single-season career high. The senior's 13 points this season also established a career high for a single season. Defensively, the Carmel, Ind., native helped the Tigers their ninth and 10th shutouts of the season.
In net, Moberg tallied six total saves, including four against the Huskies. Moberg registered her seventh and eighth shutouts of the year in her 10th and 11th wins of the season. Her 25 career shutouts moved her into a tie for second all-time in career clean sheets in program history.
The Tigers return to the road this week for their next two matches, beginning with a visit to Cincinnati on Thursday with kickoff set for 6 p.m.
