Barnes Tabbed To Third Weekly Honor Roll

Junior guard scored a season-high 18 points in the Tigers win over ECU
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the third time this season, junior guard Taylor Barnes has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her efforts in the Tigers victory over ECU Saturday afternoon.
In her most efficient shooting game of the season, Barnes led the Tigers with a season-high 18 points. She went 6-for-11 from the field, including a pair of three-pointers, in the victory. At the charity stripe, Barnes was successful in all four of her trips, including two stemming from a technical foul by the opposing team.
In addition to her scoring, Barnes recorded a team-high three steals and registered her first block of the season. She also pulled down six rebounds for the Tigers.
Barnes is averaging a career-high 9.8 points per game including 10.0 ppg during AAC play.
