Elmore Signs Overseas Contract in WBBL

Joins the Leicester Riders' roster
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Brea Elmore, a two-time all-conference honoree, has signed to play professional basketball in Great Britain with the Leicester Riders in the 11-team Women's British Basketball League (WBBL), the club announced Tuesday.
Elmore capped her Memphis career as the 25thplayer in program history to surpass the 1,000-career point mark last season vs UCF. The Stone Mountain, Ga., native finished her career with 1,068 points and ranked eighth in school history with 137 three-point field goals made. In her senior season, Elmore averaged 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Memphis will open its 2018-19 season with an exhibition game against cross-town foe LeMoyne-Owen on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
