Freshman is one of six Memphis area runners on this year's squad.
Jessie Boyett joins the Tigers men's cross country program in 2018 as one of five newcomers from the Memphis area. An Arlington, Tenn., native, Boyett helped lead the Arlington High School Tigers to a top-15 finish at the 2016 Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Class AAA state championships. Boyett made his collegiate debut at the Sept. 1 Brooks Twilight Classic, the Tigers' 2018 season opener.
