Dolan, Levasseur named to Scholar All-Region teams

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Junior Serena Dolan and senior Marie Levasseur were named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region teams, the organization announced Monday.
Dolan was listed to the All-South Region First Team while Levasseur earned Second Team accolades. Monday's announcement marks the first time since 2016 the Tigers have a representative on a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region team and just the second time since 2013.
Dolan has earned a 3.73 GPA as a health studies major. She was named to the Tiger 3.0 Club in her previous four semesters and is a two-time Dean's List honoree. Along with being a Tiger Academic 30 member, Dolan was also listed to the All-AAC Academic team in 2017 and 2018.
On the field, Dolan earned first-team all-conference accolades after netting two goals and dishing out three assists, while serving as a staple in the Memphis midfield. The Kentville, Nova Scotia native started every match for the Tigers, logging 1587 minutes and was a threat on corner kicks. The junior was also listed United Soccer Coaches First Team All-South Region last month.
Levasseur has earned a 3.92 GPA as a health studies major. The senior earned Tiger 3.0 Club and Dean's List honors each semester, and is a three-time Tiger Academic 30 honoree. Levasseur also garnered All-AAC Academic team accolades in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Named an all-conference selection all four years, Levasseur tallied six goals and eight assists in her final season in the Blue and Gray. The Stoneham, Quebec native was also named first-team all-conference in 2016, 2017 and 2018, and earned her third United Soccer Coaches All-Region team honor last month. Her 25 career assists also rank fifth in program history.
In addition to their personal academic accolades, Dolan and Levasseur have been a vital part of earning the women's soccer team the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award and the AAC Academic Excellence Awards for five straight years.
