Five Things to Know About Memphis
- Memphis captured its first American Athletic Conference tournament championship behind a pair of shutouts against UCF (1-0) and host USF (3-0) last week in Tampa to punch their seventh ticket in program history to the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers also won six league championships from 2007-11 as members of Conference USA.
- Senior defender Chanel Hudson-Marks was named The American tournament's Most Outstanding Defensive Player and sophomore forward Clarissa Larisey was tabbed the Most Outstanding Offensive Player. Senior forward Marie Levasseur and junior defender Stasia Mallin were also named to the All-Tournament team.
- Boasting one of the best offenses in the country, the Tigers rank fifth nationally in total goals (50), eighth in shots per game (19.55) and eighth in scoring offense (2.5 goals per game).
- The Tiger defense has stifled their opponents throughout the year, limiting opposition to 7.1 shots per game. Defensively, Memphis has allowed just 13 goals all season and have countered with 13 shutouts. In goal, Elizabeth Moberg's 13 clean sheets this season leads the country.
- Memphis is 1-6 all-time in the NCAA Tournament with its win coming against UT Martin the last time the Tigers hosted the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2011. Memphis and Wisconsin are meeting for the first time in each program's history. The Tigers are 1-3-1 all-time against Big Ten opponents.

Aside from Wisconsin's four draws this season, 11 other contests have been decided by one goal.
Lauren Rice leads the Badger offense with seven goals and 16 points. As a team, Wisconsin averages 1.37 goals per game on 12.2 shots per game.
Between the pipes, Jordyn Bloomer has started all 19 matches this season. The junior has tallied 58 saves against 18 goals allowed.
