Get To Know Me: Brendan Hill

Freshman has run in all five races this season.
Today's Memphis cross country "Get To Know Me" is Brendan Hill. A freshman from Bartlett, Tenn., Hill is one of three Tigers from Bartlett High School on this year's roster. Hill raced in all four regular-season events and also competed in the American Athletic Conference Championships in New Orleans two weeks ago. He ran a personal-best 8k time in the Greater Louisville Classic Sept. 29 and posted his best finish (50th) in the Rhodes College Invitational Sept. 15.

Before joining the Memphis program, Hill was a two-time Commercial Appeal All-Metro performer in 2016 and 2017. As a senior, Hill helped lead the Bartlett Panthers to the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) Region 8 title and a fourth-place finish in the TSSAA Class 3A state championships. The fourth-place team finish was the best by a Memphis-area school since 2011. Hill placed 32ndin the state race.
