·       Memphis improves to 6-5 on the season while Mississippi Valley State falls to 2-8 as the Tigers close out the non-conference portion of the schedule
·       With the win, the Tigers remain unbeaten against the Devilettes at 5-0 and finish the non-conference slate above .500 for the first time under head coach Melissa McFerrin
·       Memphis used the starting lineup of Taylor Williams, Ariel Hearn, Asia Fuqua-Bey, Brianna Wright, Mooriah Rowser for the second-time this season (APSU)
Game Notes
·       Memphis went into the locker room with a 32-19 lead at the half after shooting 42% from the field and 67% from the free throw line on 15 attempts
·       The Tigers owned a +8 advantage in the first half on points off turnovers with eight points on 11 forced turnovers
·       The Blue and Gray picked up the win despite being outrebounded by the Devilettes, 44-41

·       No. 3 Taylor Williams - Earned her second start of the season and dished out a career-high four assists
·       No. 4 Ariel Hearn - Moved into 19th on the all-time scoring charts in Memphis with her three pointer early in the game; Knocked down a three-point shot for the fourth-straight game; Scored double-digit points for the 10th-time this season; tied a season-high with six rebounds; Added five assists and three steals to fill out her stat sheet
·       No. 10 Cheyenne Creighton - Picked up her third block of the season and knocked down her second-career three pointer in nine minutes of action
·       No. 11 Amber Holmes - Came up one point shy of a new season-high with four; Drilled her first two free-throws of the season and posted a pair of steals in 16 minutes of action
·       No. 21 Asianna Fuqua-Bey - Posted her fifth-career double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds; Went 6-of-7 from the charity stripe for a new season-high; Recorded a block for the sixth-time this season and three steals set a new season best
·       No. 22 Briana Wright - Season-high three assists
·       No. 24 Mooriah Rowser - Eclipsed the double-digit point plateau for the seventh time this season with 11 points in the win
