Tigers Finish Top-10 at Vanderbilt

NASHIVILLE, Tenn.- The University of Memphis cross country teams took to a familiar course, Saturday, at the Vanderbilt Commodore Classic against some of the top programs in the USTFCCCA South Region. The men's squad finished 10th of 24 teams overall, with the women placing 17th of 24 teams.
Sophomore Daniel Kuhman was the top finisher for the men in the 8K at 24:57.48, taking ninth place individually. The finish was Kuhman's second top-10 performance of the season, and his fifth running for the Blue and Gray. Teammate James Maglasang was the second-highest finisher placing 21st, with a time of 25:16.56.
In the women's 6K, Louisa Lingley recorded the highest Memphis finish with a time of 22:31.92 finishing 39th in the field. Jenny Johnson checked in with second highest finish for Memphis crossing the line at 23:50.18.
