Spirit Squads to Hold Two Clinics in March

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - - The University of Memphis Spirit Squads will host a pair of clinics in March. The coed and all-girl cheerleading clinic will be held on Saturday, March 26th from noon to 4 p.m. at the new location of the Cheer Station (1375 Big Orange Road) in Cordova. Cost is $35 and attendees are asked to email their Name, Age, Phone Number and School by March 20th to CarolLloyd71@bellsouth.net. Current Memphis team members will help attendees learn stunting and tumbling, as well as new sideline material. A clinic brochure is available here.
That same day, the 2011 National Champion Pom Squad will also offer a clinic from noon to 4 p.m. Attendees can learn Hip Hop - Pom - Jazz - and Technique styles of the 13 time National Champion Memphis pom squad in the one-day clinic. The current Pom squad will be on hand to assist in the sessions, which will include information of University of Memphis Spirit Squad tryouts in May and a Q&A session.
