Men's Cross Country Finishes 19th out of 30 teams

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The University of Memphis men's cross country team finished 19th out of 30 teams at the Iona College Meet of Champions here, Saturday morning.
The Tigers were led by senior Balazs Laszlo, who crossed the line 39th overall in 25:57.7. The pack had trouble staying together, as the next Tiger finisher was senior Hugh Ferry, who finished 79th in 26:43.5. Senior transfer Travis Pressler finished 126th overall in 27:43.6, while senior Ryan Smith finished 149th in 28:52.3. Senior Jeff Doudrick rounded out the Tiger scorers in 162nd place in 30:29.6.
The Tigers are idle until the Saluki Invitational at Southern Illinois-Carbondale, Oct. 12th. The Lady Tiger cross country team, which was idle this week, resumes action at Indiana State next weekend.
