Kirk Bailey

Kirk Bailey was a four-year letterman for the Tiger golf team and helped lead the team to numerous tournament victories and a conference championship.
Bailey captained the 1976 golf team, and with his teammates Paul Haire, South Smith, Tim Rush and Putter Robbins, led the Tigers to their first Metro Conference title. He was named to the All-Metro Conference team in 1976.
A native Memphian, Bailey graduated Magna Cum Laude from Memphis in 1977. He received his degree in business from Memphis and attended the Harvard Business School, where he received his P.M.D. is business.
After a stint as a golf professional, he took a position with Leader Federal Mortgage and where he worked his way to President. After a move to Union Planters, Bailey once again climbed through the ranks to President.
He also served as the President, CEO and Director of First Trust Bank for Savings. He remained active in golf, serving as the past president of the Tennessee Golf Association and the director of the Tennessee Golf Foundation.
He and his wife Debbie, have two sons, Brian and Brice.
