Annika Ewaldson

Annika Ewaldson was a four-year tennis standout for coach Charlotte Peterson in the late 1980s and compiled a winning record playing in the number two position.
The Viken, Sweden native made an immediate impact as a freshman, appearing in 35 matches during the 1986-87 season. She compiled a 25-10 mark in singles competition and was 15-15 in doubles play.
As a sophomore, Ewaldson posted a 21-12 record in singles and was named the team's most improved player.
During her third season with they Lady Tigers, Ewaldson had her finest season, compiling as record of 24-5 in singles and 15-8 in doubles competition. She won the number two singles in the Louisville Invitational Tournament and also captured the Metro Conference championship at the number two position.
Ewaldson completed her senior campaign with a 19-10 record and ended her career with a 89-37 record in singles play and a mark of 51-38 in doubles.
An honor student, Ewaldson was a member of the Dean's List for six semesters.
