Harrell, Crowdus Named To American Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis outfielders Hannah Harrell and Lindsay Crowdus have been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll after their play this past week against Alcorn State and Houston. This is the first time this season Harrell has earned the recognition and the fifth time Crowdus had been honored.

Memphis has been recognized by the conference 12 times this season, which is now a program record in the four seasons with the American. Crowdus' five recognitions is a team-high.

Harrell led the Tigers with a .500 average this week. She finished with six hits and six runs scored. In the doubleheader against Alcorn State and in game one against Houston, Harrell registered three straight multi-hit games. This past week was arguably the best offense week of Harrell's senior season.

In the late innings against Houston, Harrell played a crucial role in the six-run comeback to defeat the Cougars.

Crowdus continued to produce for Memphis as she went 8-for-17 at the plate with a double and a triple. She scored four runs for Memphis and had an on base percentage of .526. Her triple was her team-leading ninth triple of the season. Crowdus also drove in five runs and led the Tigers with a .647 slugging percentage.
