Softball Cruises To Victory Over UCF
Apr 07, 2017 | Softball
Tigers produce 13 hits from eight separate players in the win.
Â
Memphis jumped out to a quick lead in the bottom of the first and forced the Knights to make an early pitching change. In that inning came Regan Hadley's second home run of the season.
Â
UCF scored one in the second and one in the fifth to try and cut into the Tiger lead, but Memphis had an answer for each of those runs. A walk in the bottom of the sixth inning drawn by Lindsay Crowdus ignited a four-run inning for the Tigers, ended by Johnson's home run to left field.
Â
Memphis has now defeated UCF two out of the last three games played.
