Â
Kyler Trosclair led the game off with a single and that proved to be the lone Tiger hit until Addison Maxwell's single up the middle in the sixth inning. In between the Tiger hits, USF put up three runs in the bottom of the third.
Â
The Bulls tacked three insurance runs in the bottom half of the sixth and held the Memphis offense scoreless in the seventh en route to the win. The Tigers threatened in the seventh, but second base would be as far as any runner would advance. Molly Smith was handed the loss in the setback and she falls to 7-10 on the year.
