Softball Pushed Back To Wednesday At Belmont

Tigers and Bruins originally scheduled to play Tuesday afternoon; now set for Wednesday at 4 p.m.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The contest originally scheduled Tuesday afternoon between the University of Memphis softball team and Belmont has been postponed until Wednesday afternoon as inclement weather is expected in the forecast in Nashville. The teams will play a single game at E.S. Rose Park at 4 p.m.

- Lexi Rouse is one of the offensive leaders for Belmont with a .368 batting average and a team-high 35 hits. Chelsey Deloney has hit 11 home runs for Belmont.
- Compared to other pitchers on the team with significant playing time, Brooklin Lee leads the team with a 2.28 ERA and 67 strikeouts. She is a freshman from Burns, Tenn.
- With a win over Mercer on March 17, Belmont won its 20th game. That marked the first time in school history the Bruins had ever won 20 games in a season in the Division I era.
