Crowdus Earns Second Weekly Honor Roll Nod

Senior outfielder led Memphis with a .529 batting average and nine hits in 4-0 weekend
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis senior outfielder Lindsay Crowdus has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season after leading the Tigers to a perfect 4-0 weekend at the Tiger Classic. This is the seventh time in her career she has been named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Crowdus led the Tigers this weekend with a 9-for-17 showing from the plate with four runs scored and four runs driven. Twice this weekend, Crowdus recorded four hits in a game including a 4-for-4 effort against Eastern Kentucky on Friday afternoon.

She also recorded her team-leading sixth triple of the season, which ranks her second in the nation.

Crowdus leads the Tigers with a .471 batting average and 40 hits. She also has driven in a team-high 15 RBI this season and is a perfect 17-for-17 in stolen bases.
Memphis now travels to Belmont Tuesday afternoon for a single game in Nashville, Tenn.
