Hadley Named to Weekly Honor Roll

Freshman is the third Tiger newcomer to earn a spot on the weekly honor roll this year.
MEMPHIS – Freshman catcher/third baseman Regan Hadley (Georgetown, Ind./Georgetown HS) was named to the American's weekly honor roll it was announced Monday. She becomes the third different player to earn a spot on the weekly list, following fellow newcomers Lindsey Stickrod and Brittany Seale in posting a top five weekly performance.
In a 4-1 week for Memphis at the Coastal Carolina Chanticleer Challenge, Hadley went 6-for-13 and hit her first two collegiate homeruns, one against Furman and a second against host Coastal Carolina. She recorded seven RBI in four games and had a 1.000 slugging percentage, adding a walk in the 9-0 win over Buffalo, Sunday.
The freshman, who graduated a semester early to start her college career sooner, has played in 19 of Memphis' 26 games, with 14 starts.
Memphis, who has won five of its last six games, plays its mid-week game this week on the road, playing in Nashville at Belmont, Wednesday, at 4:00 p.m. The team then returns home to host Cleveland State and Northern Kentucky in three games over two days this weekend. Memphis hosts Cleveland State Saturday at 1 p.m. and Northern Kentucky at 3 p.m. The Tigers and the Norse of NKU will then square off again on Sunday at 1 p.m.
