• Carly Hummel had Rachel Campbell out two previous times in the first inning, once on a diving catch by Lelani Bernardino in left and once on an unassisted ground out to first, but each time Campbell was given new life with an illegal pitch called. Hummell finally got her out for a third time with a strikeout.
• Leigh Rowan has her second four-game hitting streak of the season with a single in the first inning.
• Maddie McKinley knocked in her third RBI of the season with a bases loaded walk to score Lelani Bernardino in the first inning to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. The run is Bernardino's sixth of the season.
• Today's game is the fourth time in nine games that Memphis has scored the first run and the second time the Tigers scored in the first inning.
• Lelani Bernardino hit her first double of the season in the second inning down the right field line to score Alyssa Palmieri from second to give Memphis a 2-0 lead. The RBI is Bernardino's third of the season and the run is Palmieri's fourth. Bernardino now has seven career doubles.
• With two singles and a double, Lelani Bernardino had her second multi-hit game of the season and 15th of her career. It is her third career three-hit game, tying a career best.
• Keanah Prestridge threw out two runners in the game, tying a school record and a career high. Prestridge also threw out two runners against McNeese State. Prestridge now has thrown out five runners this season.
• Leigh Rowan had her second multi-hit game of the season with two singles and her 16th multi-hit game of her career.
• Vanessa Walle had her first hit of the season as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning.
• Leigh Rowan hit a two-out walk-off three-run home run to give Memphis a 5-2 victory in the bottom of the seventh inning. It is her second home run of the season and 11th of her career. She now has 13 RBI on the season to lead the team.
• Leigh Rowan now moves into a tie for fifth place in career home runs with 11.
• The game-winning RBI is the second of the season for Leigh Rowan and fifth of her career. Lelani Bernardino scored her third game-winning run and seventh of her career.
• Carly Hummel had her second-straight one-hitter and improves to 3-2 on the season. Hummel had seven strikeouts in the game and allowed just a fifth inning double.
