• Leila Dolfo had her eighth multi-hit game of the season and also scored two runs in the game. It is her fourth multi-run game of the season. Dolfo finished 2-for-4 with a single and a double. Dolfo now has a team-leading 30 runs scored.
• Kimmi Hayden had her team-leading 11th multi-hit game of the season with two singles in a 2-for-4 game.
• Heather Mott had her sixth multi-hit game of the year with a 2-for-4 game and three RBI with a run scored. It is Mott's team-leading sixth multi-RBI game of the season. Mott finished with a single and a two-run homer.
• Leila Dolfo hit her team-leading ninth double of the year to lead off the seventh inning. Dolfo then came around to score the winning run on a fielder's choice RBI by Kimmi Hayden. It is Dolfo's team-leading fourth game winning run of the year and Hayden's fourth game winning RBI. Hayden now has 13 RBI.
• Tori Gross had the first hit in the game for Memphis with a double to lead off the third inning. The double is the fifth on the year for Gross who came around to score the first run of the game on a RBI single by Leandra Hines. It is the fourth RBI of the year for Hines and the 10 run scored for Gross.
• Heather Mott hit her fifth home run of the year in the fourth inning on a two-run shot to left field that also scored Kimmi Hayden. It is her first homer since a two-run shot against Furman on March 16. Mott now has 23 runs on the year and Hayden has 17.
• Mott added a third RBI in the fifth inning with a single to left. She now has 24 RBI on the year. The single scored Leila Dolfo.
• Lindsay Kelso scored the Tigers' sixth run in the game in the seventh inning on a RBI single to center field by Kailey Kassner. Kelso has 19 runs on the season and Kassner now has 13 RBIs.
• The Tigers have now won its last three games against UT Martin. The win was the first win for Memphis at Martin after dropping its first two meetings in 2006.
• The win gives Memphis a four game winning streak, tying the season long.
• Memphis is now 15-4 when scoring the first run of the game.
• The Tigers improve to 14-1 when leading after five innings and 17-4 when out-hitting their opponent.
• Memphis is now 3-2 all-time against UT Martin.
• The win is only the third on the road for the Tigers who are now 3-12 in away games. The other two victories came at Alabama A&M.
• Tori Gross increased her hitting streak to three games with a 1-for-2 performance.
• Kimber Bossom earned her ninth victory of the season and improves to 9-8. It is her second-straight victory in a start.
