• Memphis wins its fourth straight 2-1 game and seventh in the last eight games. The Tigers have played in nine-straight one-run games.
• The Tigers extended its winning streak to a program record eight-straight games.
• The win is the first in seven attempts for Memphis against Tulsa.
• This is only the second time this season Memphis has come back to win a game after trailing after the fifth inning.
• The Tigers matched a team single game record in assists with 14 in the game. It is the second time in less than a week the Tigers have recorded 14 assists.
• Senior Christi Morrison scored her second game-winning run in a row after scoring the winning run against UCF to close out the regular season. Morrison scored on a suicide squeeze bunt by Tori Gross to give Memphis a 2-1 win. The winning RBI is Gross' first of the season.
• Memphis scored on a wild pitch for the third time this season and second time during its eight-game winning streak. Brittany Gooch scored the run to tie the game. It is her 15th run of the season.
• The one-hitter for Jenna Kubesch is her first of the season after having two no-hitters this season. It is her third-career one-hitter.
• Bridgette McNulty assisted on four of the first five outs to begin the game. She threw out all three Tulsa outs in the first inning.
• Lindsay Kelso registered the Tigers' first hit of the game in the top of the fourth with a two out double on a fly ball to the left field fence. The double is Kelso's eighth of the year.
• Memphis left runners in scoring position in three out of the first four innings and had runners on in all four.
• Kara Ross recorded 10 putouts through the first four innings. The only fly ball Tulsa hit through the first four was the home run to lead off the game by Lauren Lindsay. Ross went on to set a Memphis record in putouts with 15. The previous record was 13, accomplished twice this season.
• After allowing the leadoff home run, Jenna Kubesch retired the next 13 Golden Hurricane batters in a row before allowing a one-out walk in the fifth inning.
• Brittany Gooch made her first appearance since going out with a leg injury on April 18. She came in to pinch run in the seventh inning.
• The Tigers are now 14-6 in one-run games this season.
