
Men's Soccer Senior Salute: Jackson Morse

A four-year starter for the Tigers, Jackson Morse tallied nine goals and three assists in 68 games played throughout his career. Starting in 66 of 68 games played, the Plano, Texas native drew starts in every match in his freshman, junior and senior seasons.

Morse enjoyed a strong rookie campaign, netting six goals for 12 points, including three game-winning scores. In 2016, Morse garnered the HERO Sports National Player of the Week honor after a career game against No. 25 UConn. By season's end, he was selected to the AAC All-Rookie Team and was named a Top 100 Freshman by TopDrawerSoccer.


Switching to a defensive role by his junior season, Morse played the full time in 14 of 19 matches and helped the Tigers to six clean sheets.
In his senior season, Morse capped his career with two goals and two assists in 2019. Morse dished out helpers at Belmont and at Cincinnati before tallying goals against UAB and at SMU. His score at No. 3 SMU helped level the match in the 81st minute. The Tigers would go on to take a 4-3 overtime win and claim their highest-ranked win in program history.

Off the pitch, Morse garnered Tiger 3.0 Club and Dean's List accolades throughout his academic career while also being listed to the AAC All-Academic Team.
