
Football Senior Salute: Joey Magnifico

In a nationally-televised win over #15/14 SMU in 2019, Joey Magnifico became Memphis' career leader for receiving yards by a tight end. His 30 yards against SMU pushed him to 1,061 career yards, making him just the second tight end in program history to pass the 1,000-yard receiving mark.
During his senior year, Magnifico became the second Tiger in three seasons to be named a semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy. He was a two-time all-conference honoree and finished his career with 12 touchdowns and 1,064 yards.
Magnifico graduated in December of 2019 with a degree in Sports and Leisure Management.
