Traveon Samuel spent one season as a member of the University of Memphis football team, transferring to the Bluff City from a career at Louisville and Troy. Samuel suited up for three seasons at Louisville with appearances in 38 games.
In his FBS career, he had 66 catches for 782 yards and two TD. He also recorded 34 kick returns, one of which was returned for a TD against Clemson in 2015. Samuel finished with 1,838 career all-purpose yards including 210 at Memphis in 2019.
