DeMoss Runs At U.S. Track And Field Championships

Tigers sprinter competes in men's 100 meters.
DES MOINES, Iowa – University of Memphis' Davon DeMoss raced in the men's 100 meters at the 2019 U.S. Track and Field Championships late Thursday afternoon. Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University is hosting the meet.

DeMoss, a Jackson, Tenn., native finished 28thoverall with a time of 10.59 seconds. The top 16 runners advance to Friday's semifinals.

In other action, former Tiger standout Luke Vaughn placed fourth in the men's discus final with a throw of 202-8 (61.78m). The 2018 NCAA discus champion recorded his mark on his first attempt Thursday night.
