MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tigers flexed their muscles today as they secured their ticket to the semi-final round of the AAC Championship after a 2-0 win over the Knights of UCF.

After today's game, Memphis moves to 12-4-1 for the season.

KEY MOMENTS

Memphis challenged the Knights on both ends of the field from the start with 10 shots recorded in the opening 45 minutes of play while the Tiger's defense held UCF to no offense.
Jocelyn Alonzo put the team on her back in the 56' when she netted her fifth goal of the season to put the Tigers up 1-0.
Fellow freshman, Aubrey Mister, scored the team's insurance goal in the 67' off a pass from Tanya Boychuk.
UCF's lone shot on-goal came in the 73' when Kristen Scott fired one off at Elizabeth Moberg, who was able to scoop it up.

NOTABLES

With the today's win, Elizabeth Moberg tied the program record for career wins.
Memphis outshot UCF 20-2 with six different players recording shots.
The Tigers also controlled corner kicks today with seven recorded while holding the Knights to just one.
