Men's tennis honors seniors in regular-season finale

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In the final regular season match of 2018, No. 17/19 Memphis men's tennis will cap the slate with a league contest against Temple on Saturday morning.
First serve from the Racquet Club of Memphis is set for 10 a.m. Memphis (16-4, 4-0) will also honor four seniors in Kai Lemke, Shakeel Manji, Ryan Peniston and Andrew Watson.
This year's senior class has helped the Tigers collect a 60-32 record in their four years, including a 12-5 mark in conference play. The cohort has also posted 23 ranked wins, five top-25 victories and are on pace for their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
In their last outing, Memphis swept a pair of league matches, downing USF and then-No. 38 UCF last weekend. Andrew Watson earned a 3-1 week with two singles wins to push his dual match record to 15-3. Watson, Jan Pallares and Lemke also extended their singles win streaks to 11, 9 and 8, respectively.
The Temple Owls (11-8, 1-1) split a pair of matches last weekend. The Owls opened the weekend with a 7-0 sweep of La Salle before dropping a 5-2 decision against St. John's on Saturday.
The Tigers lead the all-time series 3-0, with Memphis having swept the previous three meetings.
