Two Tigers scored in double-digits, led by Brea Elmore’s 13
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team fell by a score of 93-36 to No. 1 UConn Wednesday afternoon in front of a packed crowd at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. The Tigers drop to 7-13 on the year and 2-5 in American Athletic Conference play.

How It Happened
A pair of three-pointers by Jada Stinson and Brea Elmore pushed Memphis out to a 10-6 lead over the Huskies. UConn responded, however, with a 20-0 run to close out the first quarter.

Turnovers plagued the Tigers throughout the remainder of the first half. Elmore finished with 10 first half points to lead Memphis, including a pair of made three-pointers.

Memphis continued to battle into the second half and added valuable experience for the Tigers freshmen. Freshman guard Jada Stinson led Memphis in the second half with seven points and three assists in 18 minutes played.
