Lisi Called into Canada Excel Camp

Sophomore midfielder to represent her country
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis sophomore midfielder Jessica Lisi has been called into Canada Soccer's EXCEL camp, in its final preparations for the 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. The camp runs August 11-18 in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Lisi joins a group of 26 total players and is one of seven NCAA players to be invited into the camp, while she is the only player from the American Athletic Conference. This is the second time this year that Lisi has been called
Lisi received second-team American Athletic Conference honors, in addition to her
league All-Rookie recognition. She led Memphis with nine assists, setting a freshman program record. Lisi also knocked in six goals to total 21 points, second only to senior Valerie Sanderson last year.
The Woodbridge, Ontario native had three multiple-assist games and scored her first career game-winning goal on the road at Temple.
