Memphis Launches Hat-2-Cap Campaign

Tigers seeking to raise $150,000 in 30 days for the Tiger Scholarship Fund.
MEMPHIS – University of Memphis Athletic Director Tom Bowen announced a 30-day campaign titled "Hat-2-Cap" in support of the Tiger Scholarship Fund (TSF). For most Memphis student-athletes, the journey to a college degree begins with a signing day celebration complete with a Memphis HAT and ends with the thrill of moving the tassels on their graduation CAP. Hence this program in support of the Tiger Scholarship Fund being called Hat-2-Cap.
The Hat-2-Cap campaign seeks to raise $150,000 for the Tiger Scholarship Fund, which supports the 377 student-athletes that wear "Memphis" across the front of their jerseys. They represent the University and the greater Memphis community with dignity and honor.
"The Tiger Scholarship Fund is the lifeblood of our program and directly supports our student-athletes," said Bowen. "We are asking all Tiger fans, friends, and anyone associated with our athletic department to please support this campaign and help us spread the word."
All funds raised by this campaign are used exclusively for athletic scholarships.
Donations to the Tiger Scholarship Fund are tax deductible and the "Hat-2-Cap" donations start at $25. Donations are accepted online and the website for the "Hat-2-Cap" campaign can be found at www.Hat2Cap.com.

Donation Levels:
- $25: Covers the application cost for incoming student-athletes
- $50: Helps cover the cost of a book for a semester
- $75: Covers the cost of meals for a week
- $100: Covers the cost of housing for a week
- $250: Covers a week of tuition
- $500: Covers ½ of semester fees
- $1,000: Covers the costs of books for a year
- $2,500: Covers ½ of in-state tuition and fees for one semester
- $5,000: Covers in-state tuition and fees for one year
