Head coach Kevin Robinson comments on Tankersley:
"Abigail is a great person that comes from a great family. There are a lot of former Tigers in the Tankersley family. She's very intelligent. She was a charismatic leader on our cross country team that past couple of seasons. Abigail also ran distance for us on the track, but we really benefitted from her presence in cross country."
